Amy Poehler has some comforting words for "Parks and Recreation" fans who wish that her co-star Nick Offerman and the mustache he wears as parks department boss Ron Effing Swanson had been nominated for an Emmy right along with her.

April Ron Swanson Ts
Glarkware.com has two new T-shirts for Ron Swanson fans. Both Ts are available for purchase in April only!
Shirt #1: Can you guarantee fridge space?

When I’m invited to a social gathering, it’s natural that I will have questions for the host. What sort of attire is appropriate? Could I arrive early to help set up? And, oh yeah: even though the host didn’t ask for them and probably doesn’t want them, I’ll be bringing a platter of deviled eggs. So can my host guarantee fridge space? Seriously, CAN SHE?! Also I intend to eat all the deviled eggs myself.
Shirt #2: Pull up a mouth. This buffet is unstoppable

For some men, life’s biggest thrill is a visit to an establishment where barely clad women remove what few scraps of clothing they are wearing, and then grind their most intimate parts in strange fellows’ faces (or parts beyond). For others, it’s a great seat at a Pacers game. Our kind of man only gets REALLY excited about a trip to a well-stocked all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet — and when he shows up, the kitchen had better get ALL the bacon out of the walk-in fridge.

Megan Mullally to Guest Star on P&R

Megan Mullally will guest star on Parks and Recreation, Rashida Jones tells TVGuide.com exclusively.
The Will & Grace star will play the ex-wife of Amy Poehler’s character’s boss.
“She’s married to Nick Offerman, who plays Ron Swanson, but they play exes on the show,” Jones said.
Mullally is currently shooting her episode, which will air on Oct. 29. In last week’s episode, Ron was incapacitated with a hernia. Could his ex-wife cause him similar pain?

Nick Offerman in Chicago Tribune
Nick Offerman: ‘I love roles that don’t carry the main story’
The Watcher’s Maureen Ryan penned a story on Nick Offerman that was published today in the Chicago Tribune.
In the article, Nick discusses where he learned the value of silence, which comes in handy for playing his Parks and Recreation character, Ron Swanson:
I had a cousin in the congregation, and I would speak with the utmost, august stoicism, and everyone would think I was a very effective speaker. But he knew I was being facetious. He’d get in trouble for cracking up.
Nick, who knew Amy Poehler when they both lived in Chicago in the mid-90s, adds that supporting characters are his favorite to play:
I love roles that don’t carry the main story usually but are kind of bizarre. It’s like, entrees are the most important part of a meal, but you really appreciate the cilantro when it shows up.
